Satinder Raina

As the founder and former chief executive officer of Sophoi, Inc., Satinder Raina is a respected entrepreneur and business executive in the technology solutions industry. He established the company in 2004, to provide technology solutions in managing intellectual property (IP) assets for a variety of media and entertainment companies. Under his leadership, Sophoi, Inc., worked with Paramount Pictures, Televisa, Star TV, and CBS Studios before its acquisition by the Oracle Corporation in 2009. Following the merger, Satinder Raina transitioned into a role as vice president of business development in media and communications at Oracle, a role he held until 2011. Prior to Sophoi, Satinder Raina established his reputation with leading media corporations, including Warner Bros., Universal Studios, Sony Pictures, and NewLine Cinemas as a management and technology consultant.

Satinder Raina studied engineering and electronics at Bombay University, and pursued executive education at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His most recent entrepreneurial venture is a next-generation developer of advanced mobile technology.
