Stephen B. Castleberry, Ph.D. has been a Professor of Marketing in the Labovitz School of Business and Economics, UMD, since 1992 where he teaches marketing and business ethics courses. Prior to joining UMD he held positions at Northern Illinois University (UARCO Professor of Sales and Marketing endowed chair) and the University of Georgia. He has also been the department head at both NIU and UMD. Dr. Castleberry has published over 50 referred journal articles in national and international publications, is the co-author of nine editions of Selling: Building Partnerships by McGraw Hill, and is the past marketing editor of the Journal of Applied Business Research. Steve's interests outside of University responsibilities include outdoor activities and just about everything related to living on his 100 acre working farm in northern Wisconsin. He serves his community as a firefighter and engineer on the Lakeside Volunteer Fire Department. He and Susie, his wife and partner, also write books, own a publishing company, and nurtured eight wonderful children.
