As Co-Founder and CTO at Quikly, I oversee the technical development and growth of a social commerce platform which builds urgency around branded products and promotions.

Prior to Quikly, I was Technology Director and Lead Application Developer at Stereo Interactive & Design, building highly-interactive database-driven websites using PHP, Javascript, and MySQL.

I also moonlight as a part-time CTO at NewMusicalTheatre.com, where we legally distribute electronic sheet music for new musical theatre writers.

I majored in Economics and Political Science at the University of Michigan. I built my first website in 1993 ("Scott's Kickin' Web Page") and have relied on my love of technology and years of experience to gain expert level mastery of Ruby, PHP, Javascript, CSS, XML, VoiceXML, relational databases and numerous other web-based technologies. I co-founded a few start-ups during 2000-2005, including Eatblue.com, an online university dining guide and discount service, and Ubars LLC, a college nightlife promotions company.
