I'm a Halifax-based broadcaster who's been kindly described as a "personality".
I've spent a lifetime trying to make peace with being a nerd, and now I revel in assorted geekery. Geek cred: I was a BBS sysop back in the 1980s.
Ryerson grad (RTA '95), Second City improv trained, dabbled in 'zine publishing and pro wrestling, podcast listener and argumentative devil's advocate.
When not telling stories on the radio for a living, I produce music in my home studio under the stage name BigAssSuperstar, craft video for YouTube, and throw angry birds at snorting pigs. I also have a series of blogs and a web site with a lineage tracing back to the mid-1990s.
My wife and cats claim my heart. My mortgage claims my income. I have above-average skills in many areas, but am humble enough not to classify myself as an "expert" in much.
Life is for learning, and there's still so much to learn.
