Scott Ginsburg's cumulative experiences in law, politics, business and philanthropy have been the foundation for a string of notable achievements.

In 1997, he co-founded the nation’s largest radio broadcasting company, Chancellor Media Corporation (NYSE:AMFM), with Tom Hicks of Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst. Ginsburg served as Chancellor’s Chief Executive Officer and a Director, capping a twenty-year career in the radio industry.

One year later, Ginsburg brought Porsche to Plano, Texas in 1998, which marked the beginning of Boardwalk Auto Group. Over the next fifteen years, Ginsburg added Audi, Volkswagen, Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini to create one of the most impressive luxury lineups in the Dallas area, with each store achieving the coveted top awards from each manufacturer. Then in 2012, AutoNation acquired the Dallas area Volkswagen, Porsche and Audi dealerships from Boardwalk Auto Group.

Boardwalk Auto Group also owns Ferrari of San Francisco, Maserati of San Francisco, Maserati of Marin, FIAT of San Francisco, and most recently has added, Audi Glenwood Springs and Glenwood Springs Volkswagen, to its roster. Under Scott Ginsburg’s direction, Boardwalk Auto Group has achieved extraordinary success in sales and has been recognized for its customer service excellence. In 2002, Boardwalk Auto Group was named the fastest growing privately held company in Dallas-Fort Worth by Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and the Dallas Business Journal. Most recently, Boardwalk Ferrari, Boardwalk Maserati and Lamborghini Dallas were each named 2014 DealerRater Dealer of the Year for the U.S.

Scott Ginsburg has been involved in a number of charitable activities, contributing both his time and financial support. This includes the Dallas Morning News Charities, Klyde Warren Park, Dallas Arboretum, The Dallas Symphony, Dallas International Film Festival, Greenhill School, Shelton School, Georgetown University Law School, and other organizations that focus on the needs of the homeless and hungry, health, education and the environment. Scott believes that whatever time he can give the community is indeed time well spent.

Mr. Scott Ginsburg earned his Bachelor’s degree from George Washington University, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Scott has four children.
