Scott J. Foster

Scott's multi-faceted career has spanned the globe, creating original content for TV, radio, film and stage. He's really done it all, from choreographing fashion shows for Diesel Jeans, touring as a professional dancer, serving as the ambassador for Rollerblade as a pro in-line skater, acting... His passion for creativity and his unique life experience have molded him into an award-winning filmmaker and visionary.

Including a successful run with the European hot summer dance hit of 2000 ("Move Your Feet" - Jack Floyd - SONY/EPIC) and sharing the stage with artists such as Ricky Martin and Destiny's Child, Scott's released nearly 50 singles worldwide in dance, pop and hip-hop. His European smash single "Close To You" landed him on a compilation album alongside 2PAC and The Notorious B.I.G. As an actor, Scott appeared on television series, commercials and films, some of which are still on the festival circuit.

Scott's career as a filmmaker was launched after earning a spot in a screenwriter's workshop in Beverly Hills, headed by Carole Kirschner, sponsored by NAMIC and the Walter Kaitz Foundation. He later attended the prestigious UCLA Writer's Program. Scott's creative company, SJF Productions, has three feature films in various stages of development. One is a musical drama with Grammy Nominee for Producer Of The Year, Executive Music Producer Salaam Remi and The Caribbean Queen, Alison Hinds. The second is a serio-comedy from a screenplay he wrote alongside Italian director Federico Badiali, aimed at raising awareness for the genetic disorder cystic fibrosis. The third, a documentary called "The Herd Gathering," successfully funded on Kickstarter.

Scott recently struck gold with "Success Driven," an award-winning short film produced by fashion mogul Lloyd Klein, SJF Productions and NYC Films, directed by Yancey Arias. In addition to producing, Scott wrote the screenplay.

Scott's passion for entertaining and improving the lives of his fellow human beings through creativity is what keeps him dancing down the path of life. He continues to perform live, whether it's hosting his own open mic night or belting out vocals as the frontman of a guitar-driven rock band.
