Scott Kimple

Scott Kimple currently serves as Principle, President, and Portfolio Manager with the Warrington Asset Management Corporation, a managed futures investing and commodity trading advisory firm he started in 1995. Scott Kimple draws on a lifetime of diverse experience in financial investing, starting from childhood when he would regularly accompany his father to the American Stock Exchange. These trips encouraged the development of a unique perspective and a keen interest in finance and investing. Consequently, Mr. Kimple was trading stocks himself by age 16 and transitioned to trading futures while in college.

Scott Kimple possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University. He completed a Masters of Business Administration from SMU's Cox School of Business, with a concentration in Finance and Derivative Securities. He later took a job trading S&P futures options with Shearson Lehman Brothers, where he subsequently moved on to trading discretionary managed futures. In 1993, he became a registered representative, trading discretionary futures and options accounts. That same year, Scott Kimple initiated his personal research into fund trading strategy, ultimately leading to the establishment of the Warrington Futures Fund.
