Sean Finnegan
commercial director & cinematographer
Sean Finnegan is a commercial director and cinematographer based in San Francisco. He currently serves as an associate producer at IGN Entertainment where he creates original and editorial video content for IGN's new media platforms like IGN.com, Xbox Live, and YouTube. He has shot films, commercials, music videos, documentaries, web video, corporate video, and wedding video professionally since graduating from UC Irvine in '09 with a B.A. in film and media studies.
He received a classical training in light and lens from veteran Hollywood cinematographers John Hora ASC, George Mooradian ASC and Blain Brown, and has since shot over 200+ film and video projects across multiple platforms and formats.
By bringing a disciplined approach and a cinematic aesthetic to video production in new media, Sean hopes to put increase the depth, quality, and engagement of video content on the web and one day put be a member of the American Society of Cinematographers.
