Thank you for checking out my blog! Writing is my passion and I love getting to share it with you! So you want to know about me? Well...let's see. First, I'm a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He became my Lord about 15 years ago and He's the inspiration for my writing. I write to show people that what He did for them was a real historic event, not just some blind faith belief that is passed down through the generations. I'm so committed to sharing this that I am currently a senior at Luther Rice University, seeking my bachelor's degree in Religion with a focus on Christian Apologetics. I will graduate soon and continue to pursue advanced degrees in the New Testament and the history of Second Temple Israel. If you follow my blog, you can expect articles relating to these interests each week and on special occassions. I'd also love to hear your comments, questions, and suggestions for topics on which you'd like to see me write.
On a more personal note, I'm a 36 year old husband to a beautiful proverbs 31 wife, Paige, and father to three God honoring children, Peyton, Brice, and Bailey. I serve as a youth pastor and the founder of a new up and coming ministry at factstofaith.org (The site is not yet active). In addition to Jesus, the Bible, apologetics, theology, and history, I love hunting and hiking. I'm also quite partial to dogs, especially my two English Setters, Charlee and Chase, and my Golden Retriever, Kimmah.
