Sebastian Rivas

A native of Argentina, Sebastian Rivas grew up on a poultry farm in a small town in the north of Patagonia. He spent his senior year of high school in Northern Ireland as an exchange student, living with a traditional Irish family.
After high school, Sebastian studied Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires, and earned a Bachelor of Science in System Analysis.
In 2003, Sebastian joined IBM as a Junior Developer in a software factory, working to expedite the integration of client solutions. There, he received his first consulting assignment in the US as a liaison to Hitachi in San Jose, CA.
In 2008, Sebastian joined Oracle Argentina as a global Senior Consultant. By 2010, he had taken up residences in Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Canada. In addition to his work with international clients, Sebastian trained Oracle's new hires at home in Buenos Aires.
In 2011, Sebastian transferred to Oracle USA as an on-site Principal Consultant to Dell and Rackspace. Today, Sebastian provides team leadership in several phases of his consulting projects for Oracle, from initial client engagement through final implementation. He takes pride in supporting co-workers to achieve successful outcomes and high customer satisfaction.
