Selin ESENERGÜL BİRLİK

Selin believes that “To be great, be whole; exclude nothing, exaggerate nothing that is not you. Be whole in everything. Put all you are into the smallest thing you do. So, in each lake, the moon shines with splendor because it blooms up above." To that end she believes that wholeness is the key to success to communication and combines her knowledge and experience in the communication field with a strong passion to connect and create.

She has been working as the Corporate Communications Executive for Bilkent University UNAM, where she develops and implements internal and external communication strategies to ensure that unified, clear, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the corporate identity, mission and brand. She has been also offering advice and expertise to various brands and organisations to help them improve their communication strategies as a consultant.

She possesses two master’s degrees, a Master of Business Management and Administration (MBA) with a concentration in marketing from Istanbul Bilgi University and a Master in Wine Business from Groupe École Supérieure de Commerce Bourgogne; and a bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from Bilkent University. Moreover, she also holds a Professional Coaching knowledge, which allows her to support others with her knowledge on good communication skills.

She has been working as a communication professional for more than a decade. During this time, she has worked in almost all components of marketing and communications, including corporate communications, brand management, marketing strategy, marketing development, public relations, event management, marketing research, distribution management and social media management of various products, services, and relative brands. She has an outstanding track record in turning and growing businesses through multidimensional brand strategies and seamless execution. Her marketing skills are also fully supported with a sense of responsibility, her urge of exploration, strong communication skills and strategic approach.

She also has lived in five cities, three countries and two continents throughout her life, which she believes that has ultimately shaped who she is and how she perceives the world, especially, in terms of open-mindedness, self-confidence, and patience.
