I'm a web designer, social media consultant, database tinkerer and all-around tech-obsessed journeyman. I currently work as a Web and Social Media Consultant for Intermountain Healthcare and spend a good deal of time working with digital marketing. And I love every minute of it.

The son of a graphic designer, I've been immersed in the world of design since I could use a mouse. Throughout junior high and high school I fell in love with journalism and the concept of how to effectively communicate ideas. In college, I studied public relations, which was the perfect fit for my eclectic tastes.

I've written hundreds of articles, on a variety of topics, including a monthly humor column. I've designed and hand coded many websites for a number of diverse clients around the world and I'm always excited to explore the next big thing.

But my real passion is finding solutions to problems people don't even know exist. A lifelong learner, I love teaching myself how to do things and turn around and use that knowledge to help others, which is the great payoff for all that learning.

I also have a great affinity for teaching. Upon graduating, I spent three years teaching middle school science and technology in Brownsville, Texas. I enjoyed the experience and the people I was able to serve with and learn from.
