Summing up my training and experience, I have accumulated a vast experience on benthic taxonomy since 2004. While I was conducting my Bachelor in Marine Science (five years) and my Masters in Oceanography at the University of Cadiz (UCA, Spain), I was collaborating in the Biology Department like a student work. Later, I was working for the UCA Approved External Service for Identification of Benthic Macrofauna (Supervised by Dr. González Gordillo), and writed the master thesis: “Dynamic of colonization of tanais Zeuxo holdichi (Crustacea:Peracarida) in artificial substrates” (Supervised by Dr. González and Dra. Subida). Later, I have been collaborating with Dr. Cervera in different projects focused on Opistobranchia. Since then, I have been working for different companies and institutions, being responsible for benthic sample wash, sort and taxonomic identification.
Since December 2012, I am working as a Freelance Taxonomist in Benthic Macrofauna. In parallel, I am offering support for macrofauna identification studies to a research group in the Zoology-Marine Biology department at University of Athens (Greece).
