Born and raised in a suburb of Los Angeles, I arrived at the University of Southern California as an undecided major. I took a variety of classes and explored many different majors, from French and linguistics to music and design, before finally settling on public relations. I enjoy my coursework as a public relations major, and I continue to take courses in digital media, French and business.

When I am not in class, I can be found interning at Click Communications, an online public relations agency located in North Hollywood. With Click, I am responsible for researching new online media contacts, compiling a press database, crafting and sending pitches to online journalists and bloggers, and helping with creative brainstorming for various publicity efforts.

Previously, I interned with Outward Media, Inc., a multi-channel marketing data firm, where I created an interactive social media strategy that eventually led to an increase in brand awareness and online influence by more than 200 percent.

I have also been involved with the Neon Tommy, an online news site sponsored by USC Annenberg, where I have written articles for the entertainment and art sections and worked to increase traffic on the Neon Tommy website through various social media sites.

I love music, and I am a member of and the business manager for the USC a cappella group Overflow. In addition to handling all external communications and coordinating performance opportunities for Overflow, I also manage internal communications through email updates.

As a fan of the a cappella group and Atlantic Records recording artist Straight No Chaser, I am the creator and co-host of the SNC FanChat, a fan-run podcast dedicated to the group. Additionally, I created SNC Quarter Notes, an online magazine for fans of Straight No Chaser and the general a cappella community, for which I am layout designer, writer and former editor-in-chief.

In my spare time, I enjoy taking photographs at the Disneyland Resort, listening to a cappella music, crafting, trying out recipes I found on Pinterest, browsing the Internet, watching TV and sleeping.
