Shakya D Ganguly

Shakya Deb Ganguly, with a background in Finance technology, specialises in end-to-end ownership of cross-functional projects.

Currently, he works closely as a Principal Project Manager with business and operations leadership at Soffed Ltd, Edinburgh to define products and provide updates on projects, roadmaps and consensus building.

Shakya is hands-on in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project such as project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation. His keen interest is in technical problem solving, identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through consensus. His prime technology focus is python-based (including Numpy, SciPy and frameworks such as Flask and Django with DB handle using PostGreSQL, MongoDb). He likes to work closely with the development teams and influence product architecture and design.

For JPMorgan, he served as a Front Office Technology Analyst, where he got to work very closely with the Bond traders of NYC and LDN as part of the Fixed Income business.

However, what attracts him more would be a sense of contribution within the esteemed team of innovators in the field of Consumer services. He has training in SCRUM and AGILE methodology.
