As a product designer, SJ McKenzie brings the worlds greatest stories to screens of all sizes. Creating digital experience, she combines content and technology to craft new forms of storytelling.

An Emmy award winning digital producer for NBC Sports she brought The Olympics, The Super Bowl, Premier League, The NHL, The French Open, Formula 1, The World Cup, Le Tour de France and many other events to digital audiences around the globe.

A former world ranked tennis player, McKenzie started her media career in front of the camera at CBS doing weekly tennis segments. She then went on to become the writer, producer and host of her own show on the Tennis Channel which aired to an audience of 20 million households.

McKenzie has spent over two decades in sports and media. And as a digital product designer, she holds multiple technology patents and is an advocate for STEM and the arts.

Her fascination for digital culture, has lead her to become professionally curious about the ways in which humans navigate their lives in a mediated world. As the foremost thought leader on "mobile discovery" McKenzie combines her love of exploration and adventure with an in depth view of new forms of storytelling. Through a digital lens, her fresh look at ancient "wayfinder" principles helps us understand how mobile devices are enabling a new nomadic culture to emerge. Currently, McKenzie is a Director at NBC Universal in New York City.
