Shannon Figa

Experienced in children's dance instruction, Shannon Figa is currently working toward a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education at Pace University in New York. Shannon Figa's professional history includes positions with a number of financial institutions in the New York area, including Wells Fargo Bank and Merrill Lynch.

During her time as a Finance major at Fordham University's College of Business Administration in the Bronx, Ms. Figa taught dance to children ages 2-7 at Encore Dance Arts. She developed dance arts curricula for classes of 6-12 students. Shannon Figa notably combined diverse ballet, jazz, and tap elements with creative movement to create choreographed pieces that were performed at end-of-year recitals.

Shannon Figa also completed a number of internships in the financial sphere throughout her time at Fordham. From December 2006 to May 2007, she served as an Intern to a Chartered Financial Analyst in Merrill Lynch's Global Private Client division. In this capacity, she updated holdings for clients with assets of at least half a million dollars for mutual fund portfolio investments.

From 2009 to 2010, Shannon Figa built on previous internship experience with Mount Kisco, New York-based MRE Management Corp, as Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. She managed accounts receivable and accounts payable associated with a diversity of real estate and other corporations. Next accepting a role as Personal Banker in Retail Banking with Wells Fargo Bank, Ms. Figa managed a number of client portfolio accounts and engaged in customer relationship building.
