I'm curious about people and how we relate to one another.

That's why I became a journalist; I want to understand our various journeys. I want to make sense of them.

But I realized old-school journalism needed a facelift. I went back to school and focused on media innovation. I realized journalism + marketing are merging, and we shouldn't try to stop it. I practiced co-creation through design research and user testing. I studied new business models for content. I loved every moment of ambiguity, of studying the emerging and unknown.

Then I went to Chennai. I taught myself how to use SPSS and analyzed user data for targeted marketing strategies. I hung out at Magzter, Asia's largest digital magazine publisher. And I ate a lot of ghee roast.

Now I want to build the future of online information. It could happen in a newsroom, an agency office, or a three-person-startup. I don't care. I love the challenge.
