In my free time I am all of these things: Vocalist. Craft nut. Eco chic. Music lover/nerd. Foodie. Secret Fashionista (of sorts). I am also a: College grad. Newlywed. Friend. Owner of two crazy feline furballs.

But I also have a desire to make a difference for the better. Overall, I love finding things that create a burning passion in me, and do my best to work them into my day to day life. World, I'm taking you on, be ready!

Originally hailing from a suburban area of the tech and caffeine-driven Emerald City that is Seattle, Washington I am a recent transplant to Indianapolis, Indiana. I have likely always been a little bit of an overachiever and driven to my own personal brand of perfection. (If I know I can do it right, then why not?) I hopped over the mountains to receive my Bachelor of Arts from Central Washington University (in Ellensburg Washington, a town mainly known for it's Rodeo. Talk about a little change up!). After my beautiful, exciting and life changing experience there, and a BA in Music Business, Cum Laude later... I was back working on the westside of the Cascade Range.

Now I'm out in the expansive plains full of corn and other crops, in the Midwest. Well, I actually live within the Indianapolis beltway, but my first sentence sounded much more grand and artistic. But, I digress. I'm slowly adjusting to my new surroundings, and looking forward to all of my new experiences I am to have here! In addition to my full-time job, I hope to be starting a graduate certificate program through Indiana University this fall.

I have experience working in promotions in the radio industry (in the Seattle market I have worked for a variety of stations), administrative experience (in both standard office, and a virtual school setting), as well as retail experience. My wide variety of job experiences has created a well-rounded, driven person who will do their best. I am always excited to learn new skill sets and tasks.

The longer I am on this earth, and the more I take in and learn from it, the more I want to sculpt my life's work into being able to make a positive change and impact on society (in some form or another). You get one life, and it's not a dress rehearsal, so I believe I should do my best to be someone who can help to invoke positive changes and make life beautiful.
