Sheldon Resnick is the founder and president of Sheldon Resnick Associates Inc., an executive recruitment agency in Toronto, Canada. Through Resnick’s leadership and dedication, the recruitment agency has expanded into the U.S. and solidified its presence in the Canadian recruitment landscape.

Sheldon Resnick graduated from Toronto’s Humber College in the mid-1970s with a diploma in Marketing Business Administration and Marketing. Resnick was also active on the school's tennis team and was a successful men’s singles player for the school.

Following his graduation from Humber, Sheldon Resnick worked in photocopier sales. At the urging of his friends and colleagues, Resnick decided to take advantage of his people skills and make a start in the recruitment industry.

In 1980, Sheldon founded Sheldon Resnick Associates Inc. In the 35 years since the agency’s inception, Sheldon Resnick has established himself as a reputable and discreet recruitment specialist who specializes in recruiting for the investment banking, capital markets, and wealth management sectors. Resnick is also highly skilled in providing recruitment services for the real estate, mining, and manufacturing industries.

Resnick has purposely ensured that Sheldon Resnick Associates Inc. remains small, so that he can continue to provide dedicated service to clients. With each one of his clients, Resnick conducts in-depth meetings to establish a good understanding of the company, its strategy and culture, and the position's requirements. From there, Resnick communicates frequently with the hiring manager throughout the search. After a list of potential candidates is researched and generated, Resnick works on refining this list until the ideal candidate is selected. After the recruitment process ends, Resnick continues to follow up with the client company to ensure a smooth transition for both the candidate and company.

In his leisure time, Sheldon Resnick enjoys spending time with friends and family. He is also an avid fan of all the Toronto professional sports teams.
