Theatre geek to social enterprise start-up founder in 10 easy steps:

1) President of my high school Thespian Society
2) BA in stage management/theatre directing/Michigan State
3) Married my best friend who also happens to be a tech geek
4) Moved to San Francisco
5) Worked for 10+ years for the world's longest running cabaret show, Beach Blanket Babylon (I've got some some great backstage stories: Like the time I helped guest star and former Secretary of State George Schultz go from his boxer shorts into sequined Santa pants)
6) Gave birth to a couple of amazing kids & got 2 awesome cats
7) Became an early adopter of social media (like way early)
8) Worked in the excruciatingly dull corporate events world
9) Watched as my musician friends struggled against the rising tide of the decaying music industry and realized I could help
10) Created LocalMusicVibe.com (with that wonderfully geeky best friend of mine) to give music communities the power to promote themselves and help change the world....
