Shellye L. Lyons

Shellye L. Lyons is a native of Muskogee, Oklahoma. As Owner/Business Manager of Paradise Legal Support & Secretarial Services, she provides specialized virtual business support services to a variety of individuals, authors, attorneys, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and small to medium business owners. She is also co-owner of The Lyons Group (Graphic Design, Printing, and Marketing), serves as Executive Director of the National Business Women Enterprise Network (NBWEN), and is an Independent Beauty Consultant with Avon. Mrs. Lyons has 20 years combined experience as a Legal/Executive Secretary, Paralegal, and Administrative Assistant/Office Manager combined with 10 years as Entertainment/Marketing Manager, Managing Editor, Assistant Editor, Staff, Guest Writer and Copyeditor for various newsletters, newspapers, and magazines. She shares her personal experiences as a teen mom and single parent to motivate youth, teen, and single parents, encouraging them to overcome adversity by setting goals, completing their education, and being the best they can be with Christ. As a businesswoman, she mentors and educates others on topics such as “How to Establish and Grow Your Business”, “Finding Your Niche”, “Strategies for Marketing Your Business”, and many more. Her greatest desire is to travel to far away places to experience God's beauty all over the world and emulate the characteristics of the Proverbs 31 Woman and the Women of Titus. Along the way, she plans to continue to minister to and encourage youth, single parents, and women through all of the gifts God has given her in order for them to develop their relationship with Christ and reach the fullest potential for themselves and future generations. Mrs. Lyons is married to her best friend, Mr. Cedric Lyons, Sr, the mother of seven beautiful young people, and grandmother to three wonderful grandsons and one adorable granddaughter. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, playing piano, and singing. In 2009, she published her first book, "Social Networking for Business".
