Simone Jameson

Hey world! My name is Simone Jameson, and I am an award-winning speaker, news reporter, fill-in anchor, host, multimedia journalist and emcee.

I've received multiple "Best Speaker" and "Best Evaluator" awards from the public speaking organization, Toastmasters International. (I am also a former local Toastmasters chapter president.)

I was most recently a TV news reporter and back-up anchor at FOX 19 Now/WXIX-TV in Cincinnati, OH.

Before then, I worked as a TV reporter/multimedia journalist for WACH FOX 57 in Columbia, SC. Before then, I was a multimedia journalist for WFXL FOX31 News in Albany, GA, and prior to that, a lead TV reporter for KJNB's "Northeast Arkansas News" (Fox 39/CBS 39) in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Before my time in TV news, I hosted a web-TV show called “On The Guest List” for StreamATL.net, providing coverage of Black Hollywood events and interviewing celebrities in Atlanta.

I've interviewed Vivica A. Fox, Chilli of TLC, Bow Wow, Jermaine Dupri, Jasmine Guy, LaTavia Roberson of Destiny's Child, T.C. Carson of Living Single and supermodel Jessica White just to name a few.

I'd also worked for JAMMIN' DJs as a karaoke and trivia MC/game show host.

Going back further into time, I served as a host/reporter for YouTube entertainment channel Artist Corner Live. Also, a radio personality for WATB 1420AM Atlanta/ PopLifeRadio.com.

I earned my Bachelor's degree from Georgia College in Mass Communication, and then earned a master's degree in Interactive Media from Elon University.

This helped to expand my competence in graphic/web design, videography, multimedia animation, social media marketing and so much more.

Fun Facts About Me

**I'm featured in Season 5, Episode 1 of Investigation Discovery (the ID Channel's) hit show, 'Still A Mystery", speaking on a USC student last seen in 2001.

**I performed on The Steve Harvey Morning Show (Magic 107.5FM) in 2010 as a semi-finalist for "Steve Harvey's Singing Talent Show", and was featured on "The Steve Harvey Project", which aired on BET'S Centric Network at the time.

**I played a bridesmaid in the 2012 Lifetime movie 'Steel Magnolias', starring Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, Alfre Woodard and Phylicia Rashad.

**I was featured in Mishon's music video hit "Dorm Room Music".

**I was Toastmasters' District 14, Division A Evaluation Speech Contest Champion of 2015, sweeping club, area and division levels to become a Georgia Toastmaster finalist.

**I've surfed (and eaten raw pig ear) in Portugal.
