Researcher and Visual Artist, Born in 1973, he has graduated set design at Accademia di Brera in Milano. He works in the world of fashion with Gianfranco Ferrè, Jean Paul Gaultier, Reporter and Convivio. He joined theatre as costumes designer at Piccolo Teatro di Milano for numerous productions and independent movies with the directors Luca Ronconi and Peter Greenaway. Simone Valsecchi also acts as a vintage collector with museum quality dresses, which start from 7th century up to today. He was the museum fashion curator at “museomillemiglia” and a lender to museo Fortuny for the exposition Diana Vreeland after Diana Vreeland. At the same time he still to works as a stylist and art director for fashion, shootings, catwalks, fittings and commercials.
