Simon Spencer

With more than 20 years professional experience, Simon Spencer has worked across Telecom, Banking, Digital Media and innovative startups in Australia, Europe and the United States.

His experience includes driving sales, launching multiple IPO's, heading up emerging technologies at Citibank, engineering at Oracle in California, innovation at Nab and ANZ and nearly six years at the Telstra Research Labs. It is a diverse background, one where the common thread is a passion for driving innovation, a clarity of vision, the ability to create strong working teams and deliver great outcomes.

More recently Simon was responsible for launching Yammer in Asia Pacific, successfully growing sales and building a local account team and work a member of Salesforce.com's CXO Advisory Board.

Simon now works with his own innovation venture firm, edgelabs, whose clients include several of Australia's leading financial institutions, state government and a growing portfolio of early stage startup ventures.

Simon is also the acting CEO of KidsHelpingKids, a registered not for profit founded by his son Oliver, who is responsible for IceCreamDay.Org
