Daniel O'Connell

An obedient son by trade, I broke through the shades of self-pity and insecurity at the age of 24. My eyes and ears buried in a fit of confusion, a soul once suffocated by self-illusion; yet with courage and deep persistence, I regained clarity and re-discovered a passion for writing and documentary work.

My work as a photojournalist represents a voice for those unable ... a truth in a world full of deceit and duplicity. What pictures cannot detail is a narrative my words make complete, a story which inspires change in places the world knows little about.
