Skijør started life as the son of a barber and a clothing saleswoman. Fashion was his birthright and his passion. In his twenties he traveled the US as a musician and discovered a new world out there. Afterwards he went to hair design school and followed in his father's footsteps as a hair designer. Owning a salon for twelve years, he found hair fashions intriguing yet he still yearned for new challenges. Always passionate about fashion he turned to photography as his new medium. And working with fashion models has released his creative juices once again. And finding the passion he had always been looking for.

Skijor takes an edgy view of fashion and culture. Providing you with images that represent movement, style, and exchange. Pushing the fashion envelope, incorporating style from the street and creating a new look in photography. Skijør is currently setting in motion another venue for his photography called "MetroPunk". Intended for the purpose of allowing him to be more creative and and at the same time helping young models create their dreams by helping them develop their own portfolios. MetroPunk is geared toward male photography, street, and of course grunge photography.
