Nationally award-winning poet and genealogy blogger honored twice by Family Tree Magazine. My name is Lisa but I use the pen name Smallest Leaf as I share the stories of the many colorful characters within my family tree. I write several blogs: "100 Years in America" (about my Hungarian and Croatian roots), and "Small-leaved Shamrock" and "A Light That Shines Again" (which each focus on Irish heritage). I am also a contributing author to "The Catholic Gene". I have created three Genealogy QuickGuidesTM published by Legacy Family Tree: one on research using Catholic records, the other two on Hungarian and Croatian genealogy. I hope to help bring others, particularly young people, to an understanding of their own place in history and inspire them to carry on the beloved traditions of the cultures in which their ancestry is rooted.
