Steven Massoni

The person that I am today has been influenced by many experiences that I have had in my life. Throughout the first 7 years of my life I called Long Island, New York my home. My family then moved to Chicago, Illinois and away from everything that made me comfortable. After the move I was forced to become more independent and strong willed. The move was difficult, but possible because of the support of my family. I have two sisters that have also played a pivotal role in my life. Amanda, the younger of my sisters, has Down Syndrome. The fact that Amanda has special needs has taught me the importance of accepting others and of establishing relationships with a wide variety of people.
