Murali Sivaramakrishnan has authored several books and articles which include four volumes of poetry. His work on environmental criticism and theory is widely recognized and his paintings have gone on display at several exhibitions in India and abroad.His poems have been noted for their genuineness of feeling and sensitivity to form and often singled out for their "sensitivity and deep thought, feeling for human relationships, closeness to nature, and striking imagery."
