What about me would you like to know? These bio's always stump me, because I never know what exactly people are looking for when they want to know about the author of a blog or other type of article.

Everyone in my life has always told me I should be a writer. I love writing. I love reading. I love learning. I love conversation and communication. This blog is my attempt to get started in the direction I have always wanted to go, and that is to inform people and teach people tolerance, communication, and compromise as well as practicing these things myself. So I am taking a step in the direction I want to go and seeing what happens with it.

Why "Sophist Six" and not just Kathryn? Well, I am allowing for a little annonimity, as well as changing my entire persona. People who know Kathryn, well, they don't know Sophist and she is a different person. Kathryn is reasonable, responsible, and emotional. Kathryn takes things personally. Sophist however is whoever she wants to be at any given time. There is a certain freedom in changing your identity. Sophist is a thinker, who looks at reason and logic. Kathryn is a mere mortal who allows her personal views to get in the way of tolerance and patience. The "Six" comes from numerology and represents love, responsibility, and understanding.

I served in the U.S. Army for 15 years (7 Active duty years and 8 in the reserves). I loved being a Soldier, but I also love being a civilian too. I have a deep sense of responsibility for my Country and more than anything I want the U.S. to be the greatest country on earth.

I am a woman so completely in love with another woman that I would really like to marry her someday and have it be legal.

I am a reformed Baptist and Bible Thumping Jesus freak. I understand and can articulate arguments based in theology, but I prefer to just live and let live. My religion is peace and kindness and my spirituality is just between me and the universe.

If you have questions, shoot me an email: kjorgenson72 (at) gmail (dot) com. Follow Sophist on Twitter, and "Like" www.facebook.com/tolerantpeople for some educational, funny, inspiring posts in your newsfeed (no politics).

I hope you enjoy my blog and my writing and I look forward to interacting with you there @ www.tolerantpeople.com.

Thanks for reading!

The picture is of our puppies Bibi (the boxer) and Xena (the Rottie). I love them.
