I founded Equidate, a marketplace for startup equity that gives private investors unprecedented access to top pre-IPO companies and enables employees of growing startups to get cash for a portion of their shares.

In the past...

I was a Product Manager for Mobile at Zynga, where I focused on growing mobile franchises in the "With Friends" & Casual divisions. Prior to joining the mobile side, I was Product Manager for Real-Money Gaming (RMG), responsible for Zynga's RMG products (poker & casino) on the Facebook platform from concept stage to launch in the UK.

I co-founded Hiptype, an analytics and targeted advertising platform for e-books. We created a plugin for books that captures demographic & book performance data that can be used to power in-book targeted advertising and automatic book marketing campaign optimizations. We were funded by Y Combinator as part of their Summer 2012 batch.

I joined Chartboost, a mobile advertising startup based in San Francisco, as their 2nd engineer. We created a platform that allows mobile developers to cross-promote, monetize, and leverage their app to it's fullest potential. We grew and scaled to serve billions of ads, and they're currently doing amazing things.

I worked in the Speech Technology group in Google Research, focusing on consumer applications of speech technology. I managed the end-to-end implementation and production launch of Voice Search on Google Maps, and was also involved with figuring out and prototyping applications for the new Chrome Dictation API while it was still in development.

I researched at the MIT Media Lab in the Viral Communications group. We explored mobility and integration with surroundings, and developed an iPhone/Android webapp as a proof-of-concept. Before leaving, I authored a paper, "You can take it with you: Mobility that works with the environment."

I took an indefinite leave of absence from Carnegie Mellon, where I was studying Electrical & Computer Engineering (and planning to double major in Business Administration). Prior to joining CMU, I was part of the Texas Academy of Mathematics & Science, a two year early college entrance program. I received TCU's Texas Youth Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2010. I'm also a second dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
