GOJU-SHOREI

GOJU-SHOREI

The team of Soke Dave McNeill, 9th degree black belt head of Goju-Shorei, and Mary Ann McNeill, level 4 Healing Touch practitioner, are now offering unique, broad based seminars to the martial arts community.

The Martial clinic(s) can include Morote Zuki striking (increasing the power and speed of kicks and punches), Fa Jing techniques (vibrational applications), Pressure Point, kata Bunkai, Goju-Shorei self-defense techniques with Self-Directed Add-ons, Goju-Shorei Cane and Knife Systems - yes, we were the first system to offer stand-alone instruction and ranking in the Cane and Knife.

The Healing clinic is not only a chance for hands-on learning of some of the Japanese modalities of massage and adjustment (Seifukjutsu), but an opportunity to be treated and receive the benefits of Healing Touch (used in hospitals and clinics all over the world), Exploding Hands (a trauma releasing technique) and Pointer Plus (electrical stimulation).

This Yin/Yang approach to the clinics addresses what is often missing from the learning experience of the martial artist.

The usual structure of the seminar is;

Friday:The evening will be devoted to healing. The ideal setting would be in a quiet area with a massage table, with an additional private area and a massage table. We are used to adapting to about any environment so we understand when the ideal is not available.

In a perfect world a blood drive would be held Friday afternoon before the Healing clinic, but any kind of community charity project would do.

Saturday:A 2 hour martial clinic in the morning and a 2 hour martial clinic in the afternoon. Healing will be available throughout these periods.
