I AM THE GRANDDAUGHTER of Michele (Americanized to Michael) & Isabella Solimando - Solimando (married 4th cousins) who came to The United States from Spinoso, Potenza, Italy in the early-1900s and settled in New Jersey. Isabella's brother, Esteban Solimando, moved from Italy with his wife to Buenos Aires, Argentina and remained there. I am searching for family -- even distant relatives -- and information about my family's history, in the hope of finding common ancestors, learning about the past, and gaining a greater understanding of our genetic makeup and upon whose shoulders we now stand.
