As Superintendent of the Texas-based Harmony Public Schools, Dr. Soner Tarim oversees 36 school locations in delivering an exceptional educational experience to a diverse student body. In recognition of Harmony Public Schools’ commitment to excellence in academics, the organization has received a number of awards and commendations. These include the National Title I Distinguished School Award as well as a nomination for the Broad Prize.
An active contributor to the field of charter school administration, Dr. Soner Tarim has written a number of successful charter school proposals approved by the State Board of Education of Texas. Furthermore, he has contributed research for publication in Transactions of the American Fisheries Society and other peer-reviewed publications.
