Sophia Sheridan

Writer, Editor, and Filmmaker in England, United Kingdom

I am Sophia Sheridan, one of the founders of Hungry Yeti Productions, a company specialising in radio and theatre drama. As part of Hungry Yeti, I have written and directed works which have been aired in the UK and America.

I am a freelance film maker, writer and playwright, writing short stories, radio, stage and screen plays. Most recently I have had a radio play 'The Landlady' produced by Colchester based theatre company, Frequency Theatre and also a short story 'Beware the Meek' showcased at Toynbee Studios, London by White Rabbit. I am currently working on a series of confined spaces performances with the South West based company, Transient Theatre.

In a time before making films I used to write for Poejazzi, the 405 magazine, Hold Up Now and The Gig Review as a music journalist. I also contributed to Represent Art, interviewing figurative artists and wrote freelance for newspapers, other media platforms and individuals.

I have a keen interest in the visual arts and am currently writing and producing a music based story evening with projected animation and visuals to be performed in Berlin.

I am always looking for new challenges and projects so if you would like to work with me in the future send me an email.
