Sparky Sharky

I am 35 years old and currently studying towards becoming an Electrican with T4TS and enjoying the journey! I am determined to be the best that I can be and to help others along the way where I can. I was previously a painter and decorator, and have recently completed a plastering course. I've always enjoyed working with my hands, and am generally the person who family and freinds come to for Decorating, Tiling, Flooring laying and numerous DIY projects. Generally if there's something I've not done before, I'll teach myself. However, being an Electrician is something I was always interested in doing but never before had the confidence to Go for it and leave my comfort zone. Once I found the confidence to get back into the world and change my life, my Mum gave me the opportunity to do so by funding my training. Without this it would not have been possible.

Sadly, my Mum has recently passed on, but I believe she is watching over me and am now even more determined to complete my training and make her proud. I feel I owe it to both my Mum and myself to make the most of the opportunity she gave to me. Anything I achieve will be in no small part thanks to her love and support, and I'm proud to have shared my path in this life with her and called her Mum.

When I'm not studying, or updating my blog, I like to get involved in Shark and marine conservation as well as other animal welfare activities. I enjoy photography, learning to play guitar, outdoor pursuits, DIY and spending time with Family and Friends. My biggest dream is to one day swim with a Great White Shark!
