Hello! I am a 16-year veteran of the classroom, having taught a wide range of courses in Social Studies at New Trier High School. I hold both a M.A. and B.A. in History from the University of Illinois, where I began teaching my teaching career as a graduate assistant.
Related to my work with copyright and fair use, I am currently a member of the Affiliated Faculty of the Media Education Lab at Temple University.
Having presented at multiple conferences at the state and national level, I was named one of the Top 25 presenters at the CUE Conference in Palm Springs, CA. In addition, I recently became a Google Certified Teacher (GCT) in which I was one of 50 educators selected to attend a workshop at Google's headquarters in Mountainview, CA.
I record and play music as ∫pirøbølo∫ in a computer-based studio called killjoy. Lastly, check out my iPhoneography here.
