Shawn Neal

I'm a co-founder and owner of the Detroit based music incubator and production start-up Groovebox Studios. In a nutshell, we're a disruptive model that's attacking the music industry on a new front by utilizing our top-notch production skills, professional experience and crowd-funding prowess to develop independent artists into powerful mid-level juniors. Along with overseeing the growth of the company, my main focus is on developing and driving our crowd-funding strategies and creating our video media.

When I find time I still hone my chops as a professional drummer and percussion tech. I have more amazing drums than any one person should own. I know, it's a problem.

Before starting my own company I worked in brand and partner relations at Apple, was a high school music teacher and toured for years as a professional drummer.
