Launched my first online community for UC Berkeley in 2002, and the most recent Cal alumni network in August, 2012. As social media director and community manager, I have led launches for UC Berkeley on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and Foursquare. I was a content director for BearingPoint's technical services group before working at Cal.

Earlier in my career, I was a journalist covering federal healthcare policy and interviewed C. Everett Koop, Tipper Gore, and several members of the Clinton cabinet. I was part of the editorial staff of a start-up magazine now known as Health magazine, and honed my fact-checking skills as an intern at Mother Jones magazine.
