Launched my first online community for UC Berkeley in 2002. Since then, I have led launches for UC Berkeley on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Foursquare. Before joining Cal, I was a Content Director for KPMG Consulting's Technical Services group.
Earlier in my career, I was a journalist covering federal healthcare policy and interviewed C. Everett Koop, Tipper Gore, and several members of the Clinton cabinet. I was part of the original editorial staff of a magazine now known as Health magazine and honed my fact-checking skills as an intern at Mother Jones magazine.
