Born in 1981, educated in beautiful village Injaram of East Godavari District and then in Hyderabad, got trained in Mumbai, started career with a small garment export organization, moved on to different locations in Southern India to set up Computer literacy programs for visually impaired, then started career with Net Systems Informatics (India) Pvt. Ltd., & BarrierBreak which turned my growth into accessibility industry. Instrumental in set up Accessibility practice at Yahoo! India and expanded to other regions including China, Singapore and Middle East. Then got laid off at Yahoo! in 2012 and joined PayPal where I led accessibility efforts from Quality Assurance prospective. After working for 2.5 years, decided to switch back to a service based company to explore different markets, hence joined HCL Technologies to lead accessibility effort; through which got an opportunity to work with Internet giant, Google - worked on YouTube. Soon I realized, there is very little scope to spread awareness about accessibility while working at HCL
Currently I'm working on accessibility with one of the most popular accessibility focused company Deque Systems!
With about 8+ experience in the area of Accessibility, I provide expertise in accessibility testing, accessibility training and accessibility consulting.
Recepient of NCPEDP MphasiS Universal Design Awardee for 2013.
Besides my work at Deque, I serve on the board of The National Association for the Blind Karnataka Branch, W3C India and NASSCOM Foundation.
