I'm a consultant for research-based learning and a teacher in the bachelor and master programme in Media Education at the Kiel University. My main teaching subjects are media pedagogy, educational computer sciences and collaborative learning environments.

In 2012 until 2014 I worked as a project coordinator of the multilateral project "Creating Knowledge through Design & Conceptual Innovation funded by the ERASMUS Lifelong Learning Programme. The project aims to foster design ability and creative thinking among students and professionals of various disciplines, enabling them to generate innovation and knowledge.

My research interests are research-based learning, Scholarship of teaching and learning, knowledge practices, design as inquiry, knowledge creation and Personal Learning Environments (PLEs). Currently I'm working on my dissertation: Diverse Knowledge Practices through Personal Learning Environments.
