The "Jill" of all Trades!
I am one of those weird hybrid people who loves working in business and being creative. In my professional life, I have worked in all sorts of environments (startups, corporate, small biz and University), in all sorts of positions (web management, online marketing), for the past 15 years. Over the years, I have been quite lucky to work with amazing people doing amazing things. I treasure those moments as I move into the next phase of my life as a documentary filmmaker.
I am currently working on my first documentary which is about my parents and their struggles through 40 years of marriage (including gambling, health, and money Issues, etc). Heck, I am even part of the story (not just as their daughter) In October of this year (2012), my father will celebrate 10 years of new life thanks to my kidney.
On another personal note, in April, I will be married for two years to my incredible wife, Melissa. We hope that someday (very soon please) we can claim the same rights that we have in our home state of Illinois to every other state in the US and beyond.
