Born in Helsinki, Finland, studied music and played at folk clubs there before moving to Stockholm Sweden, founded [Finnish ethno-prog band] Kra, then moved to Ostrobothnia, Finland for an eleven year job as a sound FX designer / composer / musician at the Vaasa Municipal Theatre (VKT).

Has written and recorded music for Kra, for the five -string kantele, for plays at the VKT, a few films, too, and toured Finland, Aland and Sweden playing Finland's national instrument, the five-string kantele (+ a little 9-string resonator guitar and kazzoo) for audiences aged 1-102.
