Stefan works in the IT industry for more than 30 years - but do not mention it to him too offensively, he is so sorry about his wrinkles and the suddenly disappearing hairs;-). Starting as a software designer, he held various positions as architect, consultant, section manager and executive. He initiates, runs and finishes complex company wide innovation projects worldwide - currently enabling people to use their Thermomixes - cool stuff.

In his spare time he explores advanced Web technologies, plays table tennis since ages and is a passionate runner, almost daily. On the weekends you can usually meet him on scenic trails around his home town or in the gym acting highly committed in a table tennis game. Reading English science fiction literature is among one of his favourites ("42" is the answer - and my all time favourite is "Flowers for Algernon" (I cried, no kidding)!).

Carpentry in his workshop in the basement of his home stabilizes work life balance and produces some useful wooden tables, chairs and shelves for the family, for better or for worse (and I did some neat things, my kids say - ok, they have to;-). Driving his motor bike gives Stefan a sense of freedom and adventure necessary to stay grounded and firm (and not to take all the "legal" nonsense and jurisdiction too seriously - huuh, how bad I am!).
