Stephanie Schleuder

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Steph grew up in Richfield, MN and immediately became a fixture on the athletic fields and playgrounds. Her passion for sports led to her to major in physical education while dreaming of someday being a coach of women's sports. The dream eventually became reality when Title IX opened up opportunities for women in sports. She coached collegiate teams for 34 years - 23 years of those years in Division I, winning over 700 games. She will be inducted into the national volleyball Coaches Hall of Fame in Dec. 2015. She is a published author and frequent public speaker and has held many national leadership roles. Steph is currently a featured columnist for The Art of Coaching Volleyball. Her other passions include photography, travel, creative design, art and working collaboratively with passionate people.
