This website is a reflection of one my favorite pastimes; listening and discovering new music. Since 2009, this website has gone through many changes, some lasting longer than others. I’ve changed the name and the logo a few times, but the purpose of the website has never changed. Stephdpenn.com was created to shine a deserving spotlight on R&B/Soul artists.

Since starting this website, I’ve had conversations with some of my favorite artists including including Syleena Johnson, Melanie Fiona, Chrisette Michelle, Ledisi and Kimberley Locke, to name a few.
