Stephen Escobedo

San Jose, CA

Born and raised in San Jose, CA, I'm an ambitious and creative individual with many talents.

I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Music. I was born with "the knack" for figuring out electronics and enjoy keeping up with the latest technologies.

I write, perform, and produce music under the alias Pushing Reality. I self-produced an EP in 2009 called "Post Meridiem" and have many remixes, film music, and sound design projects under my belt. When I'm not in my home studio, I lend my audio talents to the theatrical concert Hideo as a sound designer, audio engineer, and performer.

I currently work as an Audio Analyst for Visceral Games at EA Redwood Shores. I previously served as a Quality Assurance Analyst for Electronic Arts' Maxis studio in Emeryville, CA, working on SimCity (2013). My job has been extremely rewarding and I've met many great people and friends along the way.

I enjoy running in my free time, as well as a good microbrew and convo with friends. I'm also a long time gamer, with the Playstation 3 as my platform of choice. I'm always up for meeting new and interesting people, and I keep my eyes and ears open for the next big thing.
