As a website developer I spend a lot of time either in front of my PC's or with my Netbook working on online applications built using Ruby on Rails or websites using HTML/HAML/CSS/SCSS/Wordpress/PHP. My perfect development platform is Ruby on Rails, HAML and SASS.
Previous websites include a site for County Marquees East Anglia, an Essex marquee hire company build using the Ruby gem Staticmatic / Twitter Bootstrap and jQuery. Other examples include a website for SLYDE.eu aimed at teaching under 17's the importance of safe driving (build in Ruby on Rails) and a nice little website for an event hire company called Alfresco Luxury Hire, again built in Ruby on Rails.
Outside of work I'm a huge music fan, into most types of music but recently I favour Liquid DNB, Breakbeat, rock bands including Linkin Park, Pitchshifter and am loving the album by Of Monsters and Men.
I'm also a big fan of the great outdoors, currently been hitting the gym pretty hard to get back into shape and once the weather if better will be back out most days exploying.
