I was born in the USA to an English mother and Australian father and I'm now a Singaporean citizen. Before I turned 40, I lived on three different continents, each for more than a decade. My career and life is an ongoing pursuit of new experiences and challenges.

After an Economics degree in Sydney, I chose a career as a management consultant (two years at Price Waterhouse, ten at IBM). Consulting required me to constantly learn new skills, to continually innovate under pressure, and to regularly adapt to new customers and problem domains – great training for an entrepreneur.

In 2005, I co-founded Cognitive Edge in Singapore and served as CEO for six years. At Cognitive Edge we developed and commercialised the SenseMaker® software, received a US patent and had a global Network of over 1200 affiliated professionals by the time I stepped down in early 2012.

My next venture was YouCommentate. At YouCommentate, we created a platform for passionate fans to stream their own live audio commentary for whatever sports they are watching directly from their mobile devices for other fans to listen in.

In 2014, I co-founded Bricoleur Ventures, in Sydney. We are working to establish and grow Bricks 4 Kidz® across Australia. Bricks 4 Kidz® encourages children to play and socialise with friends while learning fundamentals of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a non-competitive setting.

I love building great businesses and there's no better feeling than giving someone a job that you've created, but my proudest achievement is my family. I enjoy travelling, good books and a decent game of any sport. Give me a shout.
